About Us
Wanda Timmons' name is synonymous with attention to detail, professionalism and quality throughout Central Illinois. She has been involved in decorative wall treatments for over 20 years, both residentially and commercially. What began as a hobby when her children were small turned in to a labor of love, evolving from simple wallpapering to the artistically challenging faux finishing.
Wanda began her training at the Faux Effects International, Inc. Studio in Vero Beach, Florida based on the urging of a long time customer, who happened to be visiting friends in the Florida area. Wanda has earned certificates of training in Aqua Finishing Solutions® and Designer Walls One. She has also completed advanced training in Olde World Marmorino™ & Veneziano™, Olde World Plasters, RS Crete, Advanced Furniture Finishes and Marble, Stone & Precious Gems at Faux Effects International, Inc. Training Centers in the Vero Beach, Florida and three Chicago area schools. She has studied under renowned artists Sean Crosby, Patricia Labeye, Jodie Baldanza, Joanne Nash, Gary Lord, Jacek Prowinski, Adrienne van Dooren, Kathy Carroll and John Cappi.
Wanda has worked for many prominent families in Central Illinois, bringing upscale wall treatments to some of the more impressive homes in the area. Additionally, she has completed work at several area businesses such as Holly Barding's Hair Salon, Culver”¦s Restaurant, Studio 7 Spa and Salon, Ray Eldridge Jewelry Store, a local shopping mall, Jerger Pediatric Dentistry, model homes in Chatham and Champaign, IL, Shafer Dentist Office and the 2004 Showcase of Homes in Mahomet, IL.
