Gourmet Finishes for Walls and More Hungry for fresh inspiration? Eager to tempt clients and designers with a tasty menu of marketable marvelous morsels? Ready to serve palatable finishes to satisfy finicky palettes and everyone from commoner to connoisseur? “Cooking is an Art. Baking is a Science.” Liz and Karen’s art backgrounds and creative juices will really get you cooking, while their product knowledge and active field experience will give you the mad-scientist confidence to mix colors and materials to satisfy every palette. In this 3 day workshop, students will whip up 10 new delicious dishes ranging from tempting traditions with a twist to seductive sophistications with shimmer and spice…all made with the finest ingredients, including old staples like AquaStone, Palette Deco and LusterStone, in combination with the latest products from the RS line and StucoLux. You’ll leave our kitchen with 10 piping hot treats, a step-by-step cookbook of 20 recipes detailing Liz and Karen’s unique interpretations of each creation, and tips to use up leftovers and improvise to suit every taste and budget. Special Bonus: Our assistant, Scout will be on hand to wash brushes, tools and stencils, allowing more time at the easel, less at the sink. “Too many cooks spoil the soup?” No... As wallpaper makes a resurgence, fill your portfolio with brand new allover designs to so your customers always have an option to papering. Using the newest "wallovers" stencils, you will create 10 beautiful samples in this 2 day class. Use everything from basic paint to plasters and gels, glitter, stencil brushes, rollers, and wallpaper brushes. Cynthia Davis specializes in patterned finishes. Using Her complicated "looking" finishes you will create boards to dazzle your clients but you will make it all look easy when you complete them in 4 layers and less.
